Berlin in March is not beach weather, but it is a genuinely rewarding city break. The city's club scene runs year-round. ITB Berlin, one of the world's largest travel trade fairs, takes place in early March and brings a surge of industry visitors, which can temporarily push up hotel prices in central areas. Some Berlin attractions and outdoor spaces are more rewarding in warmer months. The Tiergarten and Tempelhof Field, two of the city's great open spaces, are underwhelming in cold March weather.
